Hello - new member

Hello ladies I just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to this board and am excited to get to know you all throughout our pregnancies. Some of you I have seen on the pregnancy 34+ under forum and some are new. Here is a little bit about me. I had my first beautiful baby boy in May 2006. Shortly after he turned one we thought about having another one and in september where pleased to find we were pregnant again, this time due in June of 2008. Sadly at 11.5 weeks I started bleeding and an ultrasound confirmed that the baby did not live much past week six. We were devastated we had already told everyone in our family about the upcoming arrival as we though we had no reason to worry. As of today and roughly 17 weeks after the d&c we are pregnant yet again - currently 5 weeks and 2 days. I am so very excited and nervous all at the same time. My doctor bless his soul is having me get my hcg & progesterone levels checked which I hear is quite unusual if you have only had one miscarriage but nevertheless I am glad even though it honestly makes me more nervous. I had the first blood draw today, the second is on thursday (fingers crossed). I am hoping to get the results before the weekend and of course will let you know what happens with that. We have not told anyone in our family about this pregnancy (at the request of my husband) so I am sure I will probably be quite annoying on here for the next six weeks or so ( I apologize) because your the only ladies that know I am pregnant and for now the only other people I can chat with and be excited with. I am wishing each and every one of you a happy and healthy pregnancy and hopefully I will hear from and talk to you again soon!!

PS: From what I have been told for calculating due dates, mine is November 30th which is just awesome as it is two days after we had that terrible ultrasound/ outcome with our last pregnancy so it is our hope that this is lifes way of coming full circle in its own time and way and to make November a considerably more pleasant memory for us!!

Welcome to the forum hun.  I'm praying my little bean stays stuck too.  One early m/c when I was 20, DS at 27, DD at 30, m/c in Dec 07 and BFP on 3/8.  Scared to death this time. t/v u/s on Friday to check viability and I am literally shaking I'm so scared.  Been having cramps but no bleeding.  Praying everything goes well on your HCG and Progesterone test.  Mine came back at 13 in Dec and 18 this time.  They put me on suppositories to help it stay up.

Welcome!  I had a similar situation to you, I had a miscarriage in November at 12 weeks, the baby had stopped developing weeks earlier but I had no idea until the bleeding and cramping started.  Now I'm 8w2d and due this November, almost a year after losing my first one.  I am desperately waiting for an ultrasound appointment and can't wait to see/hear a heartbeat.

Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. I am desperately trying not to be a nervous wreck these first 12 weeks as I know it will not change anything. I am glad to hear most of you are in exactly the same boat - well not glad but you know what i mean. I am hoping the bean sticks for everyone who may be needing that prayer. I am looking forward this exciting journey with all of you and am glad to have a place to be happy scared or whatever it is I am needing at the moment.
