Red, inflamed lumps on either side of urethral opening

by boutthemdawgs, Apr 01, 2008 10:40PM
Hello, I have what I believe is an atypical STD of some sort.  Three months ago, I had a one night stand with a girl who admitted to having unprotected sex with over 20 men.  Two days later, I woke up with a burning in my urethra and a clear mucousy discharge, so I went to the doctor and got swabbed and treated for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea (Single dose Azithromycin and a shot of Rocephin).  The tests for both came back negative.  The condition did not clear up and I started to develop two small red lumps connected by inflamed skin around the opening of my urethra.  There was no other discharge after the first little bit that came out the first day.  I also noticed some dark patches on the head of my penis.  I went and got tested for Trichomonas and was prescribed two weeks of Erythromycin and a single dose of Flagyl.   I tested negative for trichomonas.  I also got checked by a urologist for prostatitis and had a cystoscopy performed, both checked out fine.  The lumps and dark patches still persist to this day (see picture).  They have not erupted and gone away like classical Herpes sores, so I want to rule that out, and they are not wart-like in nature, they are soft and fleshy.  I do feel a continual dull burning sensation that gets worse if I eat inflammatory foods or drink alcohol.  Any day after drinking alcohol, the tip of my penis is red and the two lumps are more apparent.  They are much more noticeable with an erection.  I am at my wits end because I can't get a diagnosis and the lumps and burning will not go away.  Can anyone tell me what this might be?  I have searched and searched the internet for answers, and even the professionals can't help me!

I am having the same problem right now and it is scaring the hell out of me.  It has been two months now and I have gone through all the testing you have and to no avail.  this is so frustrating and scary!  Please can someone comment??  I have been reading others with the same symptoms in medhelp, but there has been little to no comments.  Could it be a new strain of STD?  Could it be passed along to others as easy?
