Hello

I have a 3 cm. myoma. Do I have to get pregnant as quickly as I can? or can I wait more time before try to get pregnant?

Hello,

Fibroids (myomas) may or may not have an affect on achieving a pregnancy, or carrying a pregnancy to term.  Much of this depends on the number, size and location of the fibroid(s).  You should attempt to become pregnant when you and your partner are ready, no sooner.  If you have problems achieving a pregnancy, then and only then would an investigation into whether fibroids were a potential a cause be warranted.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
