Got my Amnio & Ultrasound... and the sex is............

K, well, I got my amnio today.. And also an ultrasound to guess the sex.
The first time the doctor checked he said "if I have to guess then I'd guess girl", then when he got back the legs were open (they'd been closed before) and he said..."well, that looks like a boy, nurse.. what do you think?" she said that it looked like a boy.. so no real word until the amnio results are in, but I think the guess is boy now. ugh. I'd say it's
%70/40 boy/girl. When I looked it sure looked like a little testes sack and pointer. sorry about the crude language. I did get a pic that shows the baby's face. It looks like an alien w/big eyes. haha
They tried to tell me the amnio was like having my blood drawn, they didnt' numb my stomach or anything. Thing is, the needle it'sself in my skin didn't hurt, but when it hit "there" where it was supposed to finally go to get the amniotic fluid, my stomach contracted and it hurt kinda bad. I'm not having any cramps or anything, but was told to rest up at home, sit on the couch or something and watch tv. No cleaning, cooking, or lengthy walking.
They basically told carlos whatever I want to give me it for the next 24hrs. lol. I got a pic of the "face". it looks like an alien w/big eyes, but we saw the brain too.
Then I went to my second appointment w/my regular obgyn, and she tried to get a full body pic, but the silly baby was moving SO MUCH that everytime she tried to get one it was blurry. I think we have a soccer player in there. lol
