Possible NECK injury?

Hello ,
I have a 3 y/o French Bulldog, who suffers from what ive been told is "Sharp edges on her vertebrae that pinch into her nerves that run alonG her spine. Well, about 5 days ago she showed signs of having an episode related to her back issues, although I took her to the vet and she showed no signs of any back pain, or rear pain at all, she totally responded to all the examinations she usually dont respond too, so he told me to give her Predisone. and i have, ut its made NO difference, I noticed she hasnt turning her head or lifting her head when she walks, and still has the muscle tremors, and is depressed and not wanting to eat or drink,...I took her back to the vet, and she examined her Neck area, and responded very well to that showing "no signs" of neck pain, but only would tense up when being touched at her neck line, so now shes on Pain med, steroid, and muscle relaxer.....All of which dont seem to be really coping her pain, shes still trembling, and not moving her neck or head, she occasionally "squeals" if shes being touched around her neck. What gives? Her blood work was also PERFECT!. Can she have a neck injury that isnt visible when they examined her neck by twisting and pulling on it?
