Bad/foul odor coming from nose

I recently had a tooth extracted and was told there was some infection associated in the general are of that tooth, which happened to be on my upper right side.
I took 7 days of amoxicillin for that infection but I also seemed to have developed a sinus infection as well.
The day before the extraction I had noticed a foul smell, but thought nothing of it.
Later as in a week later I discovered that the smell was coming from my nose!
I saw my Doc and apparently he says that it's a form of sinusitis and he put me on flonase to help with the nasal passages and clindamycin to help kill the infection. Hopefully it works because the smell is unbearable!
Hopefully it works and I will reply to let you all know the results in about a week.
