My 9 yr. old has been on Concerta18 mg for about 1 yr., with some success. Now the Dr. suggests that we supplement this with Aderall 10mg. She was diagnosed with ADD (inatentiveness). Is this to much med. for her? She weighs 70 pounds. We are starting the Aderall 10 mg today and we are worried about the side affects. How does this combination of meds. work and what can we expect from this combo. We need to know the good and bad.
Thanks Coochie
I don't think it is. It really just depends on what will work for her. My oldest son will be 9 in Jul and he is currently on 54mg ConcertaConcerta. He generally has to increase ever 9 to 12 months because he outgrows the medicine.
