Vomiting

by WCon, Apr 06, 2008 04:02PM
Hello all. I have a problem that may be more psychological than physical, but I was hoping a medical community could help give me some insight, as I can't afford sex therapy at the time.

My problem lies in the fact that roughly 75% of the time I find myself in a sexual situation by which I'm turned on, or even with my girlfriend in what could become a sexual situation, I throw up. I'm positive that this is not a reflection of my sexuality (which I'm very confident in understanding) or of the girls with whom I experience it. It has happened with both of the girls I have had sex with (both in long term relationships), and I know that if I were to be with another man, I would have the same reaction.
It seems to me that it is most like some sort of nervous reaction or something along those lines, but can anyone provide insight or suggest how I can prevent this? It's hard for me to simply "ignore" my nerves, which would be the logical solution. I've obviously tried, and it hasn't worked.
Can anyone help me? Thanks!!
