pregnancy result

I had a frozen embryo transfer about 5 days ago.I did an early pregnancy test and it appears to be positive. Can this be possible? or it it a false result due to the hormones and other medication I am taking.

It is possible. Were the embryos that were transferred originally frozen at blastocyst or at day 3? If blastocyst, they may have implanted within two days and it is possible that the urine pregnancy test is now detecting pregnancy. I hope things work out!

The trigger shot is the HCG shot they give you approximately 36 hours prior to the egg retrieval, and the HCG can stay in your system and produce a false positive pregnancy result.  But if you had a frozen embryo transfer, then I don't see why they would give you the trigger shot...???
I would wait a few more days and repeat the HPT.  You must be soo excited!
let me know what happens...best of luck!

yeah, i always believe in my own feelings...my own instinct, women just know sometimes...
Can I ask you if this is your second or third attempt at IVF?? It obviously isn't your first one because of the frozen embryos.  I had 2 cycles that failed, and will be trying for the third time next month.  I'm excited.  It's a lot of work and pain but it gives me hope, and a chance (even if it is a small one) that I will have a baby.
And you know what they say, third time is a charm!

I'm so sorry my dear.  I don't even know what to say, because no matter what I say, it's not going to make you feel any better.
I do know how you feel though...angry...disappointed, tired, furious, depressed, and you feel as if you've hit a dead end.
No matter how you feel, you can't give up.  If you want this as bad as I do, then you'll let nothing get in the way of your dream, you need to try again.  All of this is just a hurdle along the way, a little bump that'll slow us down but it's not going to stop us.  The doctors can say all they want, their data is a bunch of numbers and statistics..no one knows more about your body than you do.  You have no idea how many women have been told that they can't have kids, and then they end up being pregnant, so you can't give up hope.
I'm here if you need to talk, it's always comforting to talk to someone who can relate...it always made me feel better!

Thnak you so much for your support. You are right , I feel all those things you mentioned, specially angry, why me?I will not give up , but for now I have to wait.I cannot afford to go back for another cycle. The financial problems do not make things any better.I wish God would do me the miracle of letting me conceive natural.I pray so much for that.I want this so bad that it hurts.I feel so frustrated, I would never think this could be happening to me.Sorry for venting, I needed this.Once again thank you for your support. What ever I can do for you I am here.
