sac, no yolk at 5w 6d

hi, i went for an internal scan last fri which was 5w 6d pregnant, there was a gestational sac but NOTHING else there, no yolk, i had my hormone level checked, it was 19,000 which is really high as it should be arould 1900 at this stage, i went back yesterday and it was 24,000. they didnt expect it to doulbe as it was already high, i have to go back on fri 6w 6d for another internal scan to see if anything had developed. I know my dates are correct, my lmp was 23/02/08 and I know i ovulated around day 14 / 15.Has anyone been in this situation? What was the outcome? I am prepared for the worst.

Hello how are you? I had an ultrasound today and I was told there is a gestational sac but no yolk sac or fetal pole. I know my last menstraul cycle was 2-16-2008 but I was told maybe my cycle was irregular and that may be correct. So, I thought I was 8 1/2 weeks but today they said I measure 5weeks 3 days. My Hormone levels on Sunday were 10098 when I went to the ER because I saw bleeding. I am still bleeding not a lot but when I wipe. I was told the gestational sac is shaped irregular but I should come back in 10 days to have another ultrasound. I was told sometimes the fetus does survive, they still may think I am to early to see any of this but I have had three miscarriages. I have had two healthy pregnancies in the past, I have 14 year old and a 4 year old. I do have diabetes and I believe this is playing a huge role in how I carry these babies and I am also 35 years old so, I have two strikes against me. But because I am a believer I still think anything is possible. For a short time I believe to have a pitty party on myself but I stopped that as soon as possible. I still feel pregnant so, until all is said I will still believe. I hope this helps, my next appointment is on 4-30-2008, let's hope the heart is beating and they were wrong. Talk to you soon.
