My 7 year old son was just diagnosed with CHRPE in his eyes. There are about 15-20 in the right eye (some small, some medium sized) & 2 smaller ones in the left eye. I know that it doesn't affect the eyesight at all, but is an indicator of colon cancer. There is a lot of cancer on my side of the family, including colon/intestinal cancer & also some on my husband's side as well. We have an appointment for him at a children's clinic with a pediatric GI doctor & genetics counselor coming up soon. We cannot find anything on the internet about children with the disease. Can anyone offer any more insight on this subject. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
