Breathing Difficulty After Eating

by DNgt, Apr 07, 2008 07:21PM
Hello, for the past two weeks I find that I have difficulty breathing after eating.  I do not eat very fatty foods, only normal amounts. Mostly I eat a pretty well balanced meal.  I am an active male- I run and exercise regularly (at least 5x/wk).   10 yrs ago I had slightly high cholesterol from eating fast food everyday. I have not done that since then. I am in my 20's. I do not smoke and am a social drinker. I work most of the time so I really don't drink at all. The problem occurs especially after eating and I find myself having to take deep breaths every so often. I feel like my food is stuck somewhere between my esophagus and stomach, like it didn't go through all the way.  I do not think it is my clothing (I have to wear a vest for work). I have also been stressed lately, so maybe it is a little of everything. Please help.
