I feel kinda stupid looking on the internet for an answer to my problem just hopeing some1 here can help me a bit .I have been depressed lately and ive started to cut myself alot i have  never done this before. I dont even know why i started doing this it in the first place i have destroyed my side with cut marks. I have had  no traumatic experiences in life that would make me do this.  I have had thoughts of sucide the past few weeks as well. Just looking for a litle help thas all.

This is a serious symptom and you should not be looking any further for help on the Internet because you should not be treating yourself.  You should see a psychiatrist as soon as possible for medication and talk therapy.  In fact, since you have some suicidal thoughts, you should do it on an emergency basis.

Hey, how are you?
Listen cutting is not an answer to any type of problem you have. I have never done it myself but I used to enjoy finishing cigarettes and putting them out on my body. I can only tell you that the fact that you cut yourself doesnt make you insane or abnormal, because there is no normal, but it doesnt make it a good thing. depression is serious and you should (as hard as it is) talk to someone in your family or school about it. Cutting is a unreasonable and shouldnt be an outlet of any sort.

I've tried suicide and failed with the realization that in the end theres no real point. you only escape a life that you have. We're all going to die in the end, its only a matter of time. However you have this conciousness, your life, that you can make good. Its something to live for!

I have relinquished almost all feeling as of now, i talk to people all the time and surround myself with the things i enjoy. I believe that you can do the same and find something good to live for. Please do that for not only me, but yourself.

hey i can definately relate to you and its not weird looking on the net for help although you should get otehr help like a therapist they aren't so bad once you find the right one...

you might not think that there isn't anything floating around in your mind that is bad but there must be if you are doing this to yourself...its not your fault you just have to admit that there might be something there and get help.

my own personal advice write in a journal especially when you have these thoughts even if what you write makes absolutely no sense write it...i do it all teh time and find that the pain from my body flows through the pen and onto the paper...i haven't cut myself as muchg as you say you have but another solution for that is to wear a rubber band around your wrist and when you feel the urge just pull the rubber band instead.

i know ultimately you shouldn't do anything to yourself at all but for teh time being and please do yourself a favor and kick it in teh butt before it consumes you go see someone you will feel better and this will pass!! take care!!
