I tried to google to look for an answer to your question, but did not come up with much. I think you should mention this to your doctor, because maybe it is a side effect of something you are taking for your diabetes or maybe it has something to do with your thyroid. I mention the thyroid because often when you have one autoimmune disease you may develop something else pertaining to the autoimmune system. I am a Type 1 diabetic and I developed graves disease, which is an over-active thyroid.
