propecia in chidren/

by mamashu, Apr 09, 2008 11:47PM
My neighbors 14 month old has been losing hair on the top of his head. He does not rub his head or pull the hair out. It just seems to fall out. The pediatrician has told her he is too young for it to be propecia, or to test for it. Where the hair is falling out the scalp it is smooth as if there are no hair follicles. The balding is almost perfectly round with one side a little wider and longer. Any Ideas would be helpful.
