stinging and tingling

by Bob805, Apr 10, 2008 01:09AM
I wrote you late last year about stinging and tingling sensations with numbness after a lower facelift done in august.  It's been eight months now  and I'm still experiencing these problems.  The numbness I can handle, but to think that the stinging is permanent would really bother me.  I read where nerves become imbedded in scar tissue and never are able to correct themselves and the pain lasts forever.  Do you believe this will ever resolve?  Thanks.

Even at eight months post lower facelift, full scar maturation has not fully occurred.  I believe it is likely that these sensations will resolve over the next six months or so.
