Symptoms fading

by TEXASQT, Apr 10, 2008 10:53AM
Hello everyone.  Just curious as to whether anyone else's symptoms seem to be fading away.  I am 9w2d and for the last two days, my boobs aren't nearly as sore, my all day mild nausea is completely gone and I don't seem to be quite as exhausted as I was last week.  I have had no complications, i.e. spotting, cramping or anything out of the ordinary.  Just seems a little early for the symptoms to be going away.  Any input is appreciated!!

Could be just the hormones are starting to even out and body is getting adjusted.  I'm 8 1/2 weeks and my symptoms have started decreasing some.  They say that most of the early stuff only goes through to week 12.  Then we get swollen ankles, gas, consipation and constant burping.  When's your next u/s?

Thanks for your response.  I had an u/s at 6+ weeks and one last Friday.  Saw the heartbeat both times.  I guess I'm just a little extra concerned because I had a miscarriage back in November.  But with that one, I had a lot of cramping and spotting - even saw the heartbeat the day before I had the miscarriage.  Guess it just eases my mind when I feel like ****...how crazy is that?!

:)  Hang in there...I know how u feel...I m/c in Dec.  I'll feel better once I'm past 12 weeks.  Let's count 'em down.

I had a m/c in November as well.  I'm still scared that it's going to happen again.  But the constant nausea can leave any time now!

I was just looking at your question and wanted to let you know that I am having the exact same feelings.  Since last week at 8 1/2 weeks I have felt better each day, with less soreness in my boobs, more energy and less nausea.  We had an ultrasound on Friday which was 9 weeks, saw the baby and heard the hearbeat, loud and clear.  I'm trying to remind myself that everything is fine, but I understand how your feeling.  Sometimes it helps to hear that other people out there are feeling the same way!

I'm trying really hard not to be a worrywort...but it's hard at 39 and having recently had a miscarriage.  Seems the odds are better for miscarrying than carrying to term.  But, I broke down Friday and called my doctor.  He had me come in to have "a look".  Like you, everything was fine.  Good strong heartbeat and moving around.  The main thing that really concerned me was not just the fact that I was feeling so much better, but my boobs actually went down to almost pre-pregnancy size.  That's one I had never heard of.  Trust me - I'm thrilled to be feeling better!  Best wishes to all!!
