Buteyko for Asthma Control on DVD

Hello:
I wanted to share with all my experience with the Buteyko Method and Therapy. My husband was an Asthma sufferer since he was 8 years old and all his life was tied to the medication and inhalators to be able to control his Asthma. Through this website (www.asthmacontrol.net) we discovered the Buteyko Method. invented by Dr. Konstantin Buteyko in Russia. My husband did the course and since then, has practized the exercises and has never ever, had to use medication again. It is very difficult to find a practitioner near you, but now, it seems in June there is going to be a DVD available so people can learn this natural method from home and be able to carry a better quality of life. This method is also for children from 4 years on. I had to share this with you, since also if you pre-order the DVD they give you a 10% discount. I hope this helps..it helped me!

Angel - I second your praise of Buteyko!!!
I was diagnoised with Asthma as a child and suffered with it (badly) until 2002 when I discovered Buteyko!
For over 20yrs I trialled every inhaler etc that was brought onto the market. I had regular attacks and was often hospitalised. My folks bought me a nebuliser and I was embarressed to bring it on holidays with me (particularly when I got older and was travelling with friends)!
The fee to attend the course was the best money I EVER spent. I have not looked back since! Approx 6mths after attending the course I was off all meds (both high dosage of steroid and releaver inhalers!)
I would highly recommend this to everyone who suffers with asthma!
The after-therapy support I received was second to none!
Even though medical practitioners are not all in favour of this therapy - go ahead and try it, you've nothing to lose!
