Vicky18 surgery tomorrow?

by ireneo, Apr 10, 2008 07:42PM
My notes say you have surgery tomorrow for a semi-solid, orange sized cyst on your ovary. I haven't seen you around much but I'm thinking of you, hoping all goes smoothly tomorrow. Try to get some rest tonight (stop laughing, I'm not out of my mind). I know you're nervous but the doctors know what they're doing and will do their best to fix things for you. Hope to hear from you again with some great news.

I hope that your surgery went well and that you are begining to feel better. When you can and when you feel like it , please let us know how everything went.

Ireneo, Thank you so much for keeping up with the surgery dates. I had started then i got so sick those few times, that I just got lost. I am glad you are on top of it.

I catch the ones I can but I don't read every thread. I'm sure I'm missing many things. To those that I miss, trust me, it's not because you're less important to me. It's only because I'm lazy and don't take the time to read everything.

I'm thankful for all the others that read and remember the women waiting for test results and surgeries as well. Between all of us we've built a great network of support and humor.

To: everyone of you lovely ladies
I want to thank each and everyone of you for your thoughts, prayers and gentle feelings you sent my way. I just got back from the docs office for a follow up and she told me that this particular cyst is rare, and that she has only read about this type in the med journals. (stroma ovarii mature teratoma, benign). What a mouthfull! She showed me a picture she had taken and the thing was bigger than my uterus. I guess this type is thyroid based, so i am having that checked out too.  I would have communicated with you all sooner, but the pain meds really mess up your typing skills!
Love and hugs to you all,

Vicky
