What exactly is spindle cell sarcoma

by dynamickitty, Apr 11, 2008 06:25PM
My 31 year old brother was just diagnosed with high grade spindle cell sarcoma in his lung.  I would like to know what are the options and the rates of sucess.  His was diagnosed at age 5 with neurofibromatosis and has had one other bout of cancer (the name escapes me), but he had it removed, and with chemo, he has been doing great.  Any help on understanding what we are up against would be most  greatly appreciated.
