Milk Thistle and The liver

by D977, Apr 12, 2008 02:00PM
I have seen many posts in regards to milk thistle.  Being a survivor thus far of 28 years living with Hep C and going through 28 surgeries my liver has been through much. I whole heartly believe in milk thistle what a wonderful plant.
Over the years i did more and more research about milk thistle. Any herb you take should say standardised on the label to assure quality or should be backed up with some kind of data. I found another form of milk thistle called Maximum Milk thistle and thought ohh just another web site touting they have milk thistle and its Maximum . I could not be more wrong. I noticed after more reading and research that they cater to Hep c patients and people with liver disease or who want to maintain a healthy liver and they have clinical studies that back it up.
I asked my Doctor who is an Md about it. He is one of the better Docs out there who looked it up on his own time and told me he thought it would help and that they had clinical studies to back him up. It was and is the best choice i ever made like an upgrade from regular milk thistle to Maximum Milk thistle. A good analogy would be like going from driving an old worn out car to driving a ferrari .I am in no way trying to sell anything but there is only one place who makes it
called Natrual wellness . They have CLINICAL trials to back it up and many including myself have been on it for ten plus years. It lowered my VL roughly by 30%.Just as the studies say i was shocked.  I could post my numbers but they are just numbers . Well read for yourself. I would feel ten times worse if i did not share this info with people who want to better there lives.

This site contains the CLINICAL studies and it is up to you from there.
I am not affiliated in any way with this site or Natrual wellness just passing on the news to those who want to know.
If you are on any meds please consult with your doctor before taking any herbs, medicines of any sort.
I wish the best to all and hope this helps ,
God Bless.
