Symptons after iui

I am 5 days piui.
My breast is hurting(you just touch it and ouch) I am feeling twinges.
Does anyone else feel this.
Also, i was supposed to get my iui at 10:00am on Tuesday 4-7-08, but something happen at the doctors office and I did not get seen until almost 12:30pm.  Trigger shot was Sunday night @10:00 pm.  Do you think I missed my window of opportunity, since you ovulate within 24-36 hours after trigger?
This 2ww period drives me crazy.

Hey Dee! I wish i had good news to tell you! Our best friend AF showed up 1 day late, yesterday, 2 hours after i got my blood test done! I called my ER and told them i obviously don't need the results! So i have my appmt in the morning to get on clomid 100 mgs this time instead of 50. So we'll see what this cycle brings. Are you still taking the month off? I will miss talking to you! Keep trying and please don't give up, your miracle will get here! Keep in touch, and keep your faith! Talk to ya soon!

Good luck sweetie! I'm so sorry af showed! Mine's due tomorrow, and i'm sure it'll be right on time. Although i still haven't had any pre-af cramps yet, but i'm thinking maybe all the hormones is messing with my cycle. Since this is my first medicated, it's probably going to affect me different, ya know? Anyway, a big thanks to you too! I really loved that i had someone so close to my cycle, and you were a really big support to me as well! Please don't give up trying. I took the test and it was a BFN.
My period is here.
This was my supposed to be my iui, who knows.  Taking a month off
Can not afford ivf.

I really want to say BIG THANK YOU to you.  You really gave me so much support and I loved sharing this cycle with you. You and the other girls here really answered alot of my questions and kept me going through this.  If I do this again, I will be back on this board.

Don't give up! You never know! Don't let this ruin your day, think positive! I know i'll be right there with you if it is af in a couple days... i'm not too optimistic. I don't feel pregnant. My temp was still up this morning, 98.6 same as every day since tues. And i usually start getting cramps ( as of yesterday) and they haven't come yet. But i truely feel they will... Even if this cycle fails for both of us, at least we'll always be close enough in cycles together! So we can just try again next month! I'm ready to start, because my RE's putting me on a higher dose of clomid so hopefully that will produce more then one egg, because that's all i had this cycle. Happy Saturday to you.
I woke up this morning around 1:00 am and went to the bathroom, wiped and there was some brown spotting on the tissue.  I am sad.  I checked back to my past  iui's and it is always on the 11th day.  Today is the 11th day.  I think AF is here.  We will see.  Very upset, i was hoping so much.  I know that people spot when they are pregnant but, it always seems to happen on the 11th day.  I am going to buy a pregnancy test and take it anyway, who knows.
I will check in with you either today or tomorrow.
Remember what you said NO MORE TESTING, until Tuesday, you promised.

LoL your so funny! NO more testing for me!! :) I know, I know... i'm done. I promise! :) It's too much to worry about and i'm sick of obsessing! So, like i said, i will wait for af to come on monday, and if it doesn't come, then i will test tuesday morning. I'm glad you didn't do the beta then, because i would hate for you to get a false positive. Your strong, keep waiting. Your doing SO good on not testing, i wish i could be that strong! Went to the doctor today.  He said that I didn't miss the window of iui, even though they were running 2 hours behind.  dh sperm 11.5 million, he said was fine.  As long as it is over 10.  he said even if it was 50, it would be the sames at 11.5 million.
I opt out of taking the blood test.  he said that if it come back negative, most likely, it is negative.  If it came back postive, there a slight chance that it could be a false positive.  So I didn't want to do that do me, since I am so emotionally anyway.
I am going to wait to test until Tuesday morning.  I want to test so bad, but I promised myself that I will wait.  I am still have twinges and my bb are very sore still.
That could be that AF is coming, I really don't know, because my cycle are so weird.

NO more testing for you.

Ok, i couldn't resist, and took another test and now it's faint positive again! Looks just like the one yesterday. I'm just using the hpt's from the $tree. I'm not testing again though, because it still may very well be leftover from the hcg shot. I don't have any signs of af showing yet, and usually on this day i get af cramps and can just feel it coming on. I'll be strong and resist, and won't test. I'll just wait for monday, and if it doesn't come, i will test tuesday morning. Because the hcg will def be out by then, if it's not already. I keep reading everywhere that it takes 1 day for every 1,000iu to leave your system. So, the shot should be out of my system 10 days after taking it, and that would've been tuesday night. I don't know, i'm sick of analyzing everything! :) Please let me know your results today!

Hey dee, well i think your right. It prob was the hcg still b/c my test this morning was neg. I think you should ask to do a blood test, it's not too early at all. I hope you get your bfp! I'm not going to test anymore. Af is due in 3 days, so i'll just wait it out. I should start getting sx today, b/c i always do a few days before i start. I'm not too positive now about being pg. Just looking forward to next month now. And yes, i'm still having all my sx. Sore bbs, cramps, headaches everyday, dizziness, dehydrated, fatigued, nauseated... Plus, my temp went up again this morning, it was 98.8. The part that sucks is all these sx could be b/c of af approaching. I don't know about the temps though, b/c this is my first time temping. But everyone seems to think they are good. We'll see if it drops in the next couple days, then i will know for sure af is coming. Let me know what the results are of your blood test if they do one today! Goodluck!

I know they sell the preg test at the dollar tree.  Every single one I took of that come out negative and when I bough clear eassy or first respond, they come out positive.  I was positive(mc at 8 weeks).  If the nurse siad those test don't work, they are only a dollar.
It might be the hcg shot still?  when do you go back to the doctor?  does your bb's hurt, still, do you have discharge, any twinges or pains?
I have all of the above and that usually happens when AF is on her way?
I go to the doctor tomorrow(Friday) and I am going to ask, if we can do a blood test.
That will make me 10 dpiui, do you think that is too early to get blood work?
Try not to take anymore preg test, I know it is hard, but please try and wait.
I didn't even buy one, because then I would want to test.

Ok..tell me what you think! Last night, as you know, i took a cheapie test and it was neg. Well...this morning i took another cheapie and it was FFAAAIIINNNTTT positive... What do you think? Do you think it's still left over from my hcg shot, but if so then why was my test neg last night, ya know? I know hcg is higher in the morning, but it wouldn't be higher in the morning if it was from the shot, would it? My temp was still high this morning, 98.6 just like yesterday and the day before.... I'm not telling anybody except you all on this website because i don't want dh to get excited because what if it is just from the shot, ya know?  Even though i want to so bad, but i want to be cautious. I don't know... my daughter is 4 months old today. So, kind of sad about that, i'm going to go take her some flowers here in a little bit, and tell her how much her mommy and daddy love her. I want to test so bad, but I am waiting.  I have too.  I am now 8 days piui.  I do see my doctor on Friday, to talk about somethings that happen with this iui.  Being late, dh sperm count.  So when I see him, I will be 10 days piui, do you think I should ask him to take a blood test to see what my counts are?
My day was ok, not very much pain at all, a few twinges here and there, in the lower left side.  I am tired.  My bb still hurt.

I am sorry luvkayln, you are a very bad day.  Please keep postive and try not to tell till at least 14 days piui.  That is what my doc says.

Maybe I only drink one cup of coffee a day and it is mostly creamer.

Hey, ok... here's my update. I took a test today, knowing it's too early, and of course it was neg. (Today is 9dpiui) I took one because yesterday i totally felt pg! I was out of town for work and i was walking around and all of a sudden my hips were extremely sore and i felt so tired out of nowhere, so i had to sit down. And as soon as i did, i felt like i needed to throw up. Plus, my temps have been higher the past couple days. On Sat my temp was 98.1, then sun 98.2, mon 98.2, tues 98.6, and this morning 98.6. Is this normal though???  Also, i keep getting really bad hot flashes and just haven't been feeling good. I've been having really bad headaches, feel very tired, sore bbs ( plus, not to be gross but around my nipples i have little bumps, or something. I really don't know if that was leftover from my last pregnancy ( was pg just 4 months ago), but it's something i def just noticed today. And i've been having discharge galore...( but that's because of my progesterone supp.) but today my discharge was a yellowish color, normally it's clear/white. And my bbs totally felt bigger yesterday too. But today, i feel nothing! My bbs are a little sore, no cramping, still have a headache, bbs really don't feel bigger today, just a little cramping around my right ovary, tired but not like the past few days. I am still feeling very dehydrated, so i've been drinking a lot, and peeing a lot. Monday afternoon i took my temp b/c i was burning up and it was 99.4, and yesterday afternoon same thing so i took my temp and it was 99.7. That's so weird that today i really don't have no symptoms... I wonder what's going on!! There's a girl that just found out she's pg on another thread, and she tested at 10dpiui and it was neg then on 11dpiui it was positive, so i know it was too early to test today, plus it wasn't even a early test. I don't know, i just don't want to get my hopes up. Let me know how you're doing! Talk to ya soon!

I know how you feel with the bb's.  OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
You would know how you feel when AF comes, so who knows.
I am praying so hard for you.  sometimes it only takes 1.
Do you think you can hold off on taking a test for a few more days?
Today is 7dpiui(i love that we both are only 1 day apart).  The twinges were in my ovaries(I think) on both sides. Just a little today, had some cramping too right above pubic bone.  Also pain in my lower back.  I do not get AF on a regular basis, so it is hard for me to tell.
Usually all I want to do is eat and be with DH(wink wink), when AF is coming.
My bb's are still hurting bad, but that happens also with AF.  
I notice for the past two days(how can I put this, without be gross) that there is white dry stuff in my panties, but again I get that too with AF(I think).  Do you get that?
I am trying to keep my mind off of this-yeah right, i think about it every second.
Trying not to be stressed either.    I don't know when I am going to test, I want to so bad, but I am holding off on this.  I have too, because if it comes up negative, then I know that I am not because the hcg should be out of me.  At least I still  have hope.
I just keep positive, or at least try.  I am a little emotional sometimes too.
Remember I am praying for you, me and everyone on this board.  I want to see thread that say BFP.  
Let me know how you are doing on Wednesday.  I usually check it at night when I get home from work.  I will fill you in on me.

Ok here's my update..already! This morning around 4:00am i woke up so dehydrated, and my ovaries had that pinching feeling again on both sides. I wonder what that is? I didn't have it at all yesterday, just cramping. And today, my cramping is lower. It's like right above my pubic bone. My bb's are also sore, especially when i was in the shower. It's like my nipples are more sore now, but still ranging from there into my armpit area. When you say your side was hurting, is it where your ovaries are or is it the side of your stomach that's bothering you? How are you feeling today? Any more symptoms? Today's 8dpiui already for me... time is going by so fast. I just wish i knew already, instead of sitting here wondering what all these symptoms are from... The hcg from the shot is completely out of my system now, and it's still to early for all this to be signs of af. I only get cramps a couple days before. So, it makes me wonder....It's hard not to think about it, but i'm trying not to because i know i'm not going to be pg. That would be too easy...:) If it only took 1 time for iui and ended up being pg, then we'd all be pg right now! :) Anyway, good luck and let me know how you're feeling today.

Hey, today is 7dpiui, and i feel the exact same as yesterday. Bloated, cramps, sore bbs, dehydrated, less fatigue, but i'm not having any side pains today. ( Where my ovaries are). Now it's just cramping, but not all the time. I don't want to get my hopes up. A lot of girls have had all these symptoms after an iui and they ended up not being pregnant. I'm actually a little sad today because i just have a feeling that i'm not going to get pregnant this time. My husband is so excited because he thinks I will get pregnant this time, but i just don't want him to be dissappointed if i'm not. Everyday since our daughter, he's been very sad and depressed, and if this comes out a bfn, then i know he will be devastated! I know it's still early, so who knows. I do think it's weird that i've been having cramps since 3dpiui, when i don't normally get them till a couple days before af. I took a hpt today, and it's still positive from my hcg shot but so light now you can barely see it. So that's good that the hcg is almost out of my system. So if my positive starts to get darker then i know it's for real. I'm going to try and not take one until the 21st(when af is due). Dee, when do you plan on testing? Are you having any more symptoms than pain on your sides and sore bb's? Good luck and keep me updated!

Thanks for the kind words. I didn't mean to hog the post. Just needed a small vent. I'm so happy that we all 'get it' and can talk to each other. I have no one in real life to talk about this with. I have a good friend who listens but it's not the same of "did you feel this with your trigger" or whatnot.

You are still early in the game for this.
Some people feel nothing at all.  We are actually pretty close.  I am 6 days piui.
I know how you feel about other people having baby's.  There are so many people at work having baby's, more baby showers, or someone just had one.  I keep a smile on my face, but deep down inside, I am hurting so so bad.  I do not tell anyone about what I am going through anymore.  I feel it is better this way.
That is why we are here, whether you want to scream, cry or just talk.
Anytime you need us, you call on us.  But like I said, you are still in the game.

Maybe someone can help me with this.  I am 6dpiui today and all day I have had twinges mostly on my right side.  It feels like, when you were a kid and running alot, you would get that pain on your side.  I had it yesterday and today.  It is not bad now, since I have been home, a few here and there.  I am tired and my breast are still sore to touch.
I really can't remember about the symptons the past iui's.  Even though I keep of journal of all my counts and everything.  
What do you girls think?

Well if the soreness is a pre-sign, then it seems that my 2nd IUI didn't work :( I'm on day 4 and feel nothing. In fact, this IUI round went very symptom free (minus the Clomid and trigger--OMG the ovary pain). After I ovulated,  I had zero symptoms and still have no symptoms.

I'm just getting a little bummed. This weekend we are going to my husband's best friend's "announcement" dinner. It kind of urks me. They only tried 4 months and bam--pregnant. So now they invited us to dinner to announce it to us. The wife doesn't know that we know so it's like a double wammy of in my face. The first time I found out was right after we left the doc office for our first IUI--my husband told me. Not the best timing, I say.

Just frustred. He doesn't get why I'm annoyed by these pregnancy announcements/comments by people who try for under 6 months or give the ol "I didn't even want to get pregnant" b.s. statements.

For a brief moment with this IUI (clomid + ovidrel) I felt really good/positive. The doc said that my ovary pain was a good sign things were working, the count was higher than last time (60 mill), and even during/after the IUI, I felt zero cramps like the last time. But now I wonder if it's going to be one more BFN. Sigh.

The only 'side effect' I got is my level of annoyance tolerance is zero. Getting to be super crabby. Last time I thought that meant good news. It didn't. So now, I just feel like I rather not even think about it this month. I relied too heavily last month on every little symptom believing I was pregnant.

Sorry for the pitty party folks. Just one of those things because I only have 1 more IUI after this one then it's off to IVF and I so wanted to avoid that. :(

I'm so sorry to hear about your m/c. You are not alone... I had a m/c in dec. '05 at 8 weeks. I also just gave birth to my daughter, kayln, on dec. 17,2007, who was stillborn. She's the most beautiful baby i've ever seen, and it kills me to not have her here with me. I lost her when i was 36 weeks pregnant due to a knot in her cord. There isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about her, and love her. She's my angel! Getting pregnant again will bring on a lot of fears and different emotions, but if God can give me strength to get through this ( day at a time...) then i know He will be there with me and give me strength through anything. I just put my faith, trust, stress,emotions into Him, and i know i'll be ok. You do the same, you'll see... God's time is always on time. Good luck, and i'm here anytime you need to talk.
