Hip "buzzing"/vibrating

by SMoses11, Apr 13, 2008 11:02PM
I keep reinjuring my back on the left side, lower back, top of hip. I move the wrong way, bending usually, and feel a muscle/nerve "tweak" and then have pain and stiffness for about 3-4 days. This has happened about once a month the last three months. Now for about a week or two I have experienced a "buzzing" sensation in the same area, deep in the tissue. It feels like I have a low-vibrating cell phone in my back hip pocket. It "goes off" about every 5-10 secs and is driving me CRAZY. Nothing stops it, not sleep, not massage. It seems to pulse possibly with my breathing (exhaling) though it is not consistent. I am assuming it is a neuro/muscular issue, but what is causing this? How can I make it stop? It is not painful but is the most irritating, consuming, annoying thing, and it makes me worried. Help!
