Hi,
Going to the doctor is the best thing to do. There are some irritants near your body which are causing it behave in this strange fashion.
The eyes, the rashes and history of allergies, indicate that you may still have allergies.
Keep us posted and let us know if you may need any more help.
Best regards
I am 41 y/o,female.Have always been i great shape. I had started having symptoms about 5 months ago. I have several cats...of which, I used to be alergic to as a child. But after rescuing them I have been fine for 3 years.
I have had face hives as an adult, when I get stressed or anxious. I dont think it is bug bites or bed mights, my partner isnt getting them, No changes in detergents, soaps or lotions. We thought maybe she brought scabies home from the hospital (trauma nurse).
My eyes itch and water essesively, swelling with red welts
I guess i will go back tothe doc
thank you,
D
Hi,
What is your age? Since when are you having the symptoms?
The symptoms you mention could be due to some insect bite, allergic reaction, etc. From what you mention about the associated symptoms it could be mostly due to allergic reactions.
Nothing can be said with surety though. Are you allergic to any specific substances? Have you had allergic reactions in the past?
You could try some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with your symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions.
It would be best to consult a skin specialist if the lesions do not resolve.
Let us know about how you are doing and if you have any other doubts.
Regards.
