wondering

by tbone198, Apr 14, 2008 12:04PM
aproximately 3 to 4 months ago i started experiencing minor discomfort in my right testical, possibly more in the area round the testical, in the scrotum, i have done my research on testicular cancer but no it is rare, and other causes could be the issue, also when ejaculation occurs, it is a jelly like substance, orangish yellowish color, should i be concerned. normally i dont concern myself with anything going on in that region, because there has never been a need. i am 36 very healthy. could this just be stress. and should i give it a little more time. i dont go to doctors, unless i am in major pain or there is a serious issue.

Hi.  If you cannot feel any mass, just plain discomfort in your testicle, then it's unlikely that what you have is testicular cancer.  The fact that your ejaculate is thicker in consistency and has an orange-yellowish color may mean the presence of some pus or blood.  This could indicate infection either in the prostate, the epididymis (a coiled tube connecting the testicles with the rest of the male reproductive tract) or the testicle itself.  It might be prudent to have that checked by a doctor, preferably a urologist or an internist, to see if there's anything wrong.
