Peanut Butter texture like feces only after eating peanut butter...

by worx, Apr 14, 2008 09:25PM
I am getting peanut butter like color and texture in my feces after I go to the bathroom. This only happens after I eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I have tried several different brands of peanut butter including natural and organic peanut butter. And this has started happening within the past year or so. What could this problem be? Am I becoming allergic to peanut butter or am I intolerant to peanut butter all of a sudden?

Does this happen when you also eat nuts too?

Nope, this only happens when I eat peanut butter.

Allergy to peanuts would be to all forms of the peanut, not just peanut butter. It sounds like it is the undisgested part of food which happens with high fiber foods (peanuts). If you are concerned, see your MD.
