Viral or bacterial

About 24-48 hrs after having sex with this woman I got ill. Fever and swelling what looks like a gland just above the elbow on my inner left hand. The fever lasted 2 weeks on and off and the swelling hurt . I went to the emergency at the end of the second week where they did a blood test and found nothing .My wbc was 11.5 and lymphocytes at 3.0 the dctor said it was nothing to worry about. I just didnt feel well for the next few months. Six months after the contact My lower back was hurting, It was very painfull , but not like a pulled muscle. The pain lasted 6-8 weeks It would come and go. After 8 weeks it was gone the same way it came. Other symptoms started to show. Muscle pains, joint pains, headaches , at times tingling and burning in musles and burning in the head. The sweling in the arm would come and go but never dissipear. Feeling extreemly tired all the time . Another blood and urin test was done . wbc 9.5
and lymphocytes 3.33 eosinophils 0.48. chlamidia and gonorea negative. everything else normal on test.
3 Months later still tired , joints hurting a lot , muscles hurting, headaches , small fevers at times. another blood test
wbc7.5 and everything else is normal. chlamidia and gonorea negative , negative on hep a and b , negative on Hiv .
I am not sure the doctor belives me since all the test come normal or negative,. Is it viral or baterial? I have never been ill in my life nothing like this. In the past 15 months there are times do feel better at time but never 100% . The swelling in the arm at the same spot hurts ( hurting , burning feeling ) it hurts less or not at all when i feel better and it shrinks. It feels like its a gland.
Has anyone ever experianced something simillar ?

I can't diagnose you, but have they done any testing for any viral infections, such as mono or ebv?
This doesn't sound at all like an std.
