Lonestar, other Infergen Folks

by Deb_c430, Apr 15, 2008 06:31PM
I just got labs again,  my ALT and AST are up again,  GI was concerend about them. ALT was 43, range is 0-40 so I wasn't concerned so much.
AST was 72, range is the same.

If I remember right  Infergen sometimes does this?

Not panicked, just curious if I am remembering right.   I wish I could scan al this, I hate typing it out lol!

Thanks!

Deb

From what Ive read even Pegasys does this. I know of at least 4 people who's SGOT and SGPT was very much elevated during tx. Its not uncommon from what Ive seen and read.

Tx'd wih peg. enzymes stayed up the whole time on tx.  Hep wasnt concerned.  3 mths post, enzymes were normal and at 18 mth post bloodwork enzymes still normal.  Dont worry about that so much.

You're okay Deb.  Same thing happened to me on both Peg and Infergen.  Charm is right.  It's not uncommon at all.  And jeez, I know what you mean about the concern our doctors show when this happens.  I can see the furrowed, bushy eyebrows on my doctor now when this happened to me.  "You've got to try and keep these numbers down," he'd say.  Like I had any control over it, huh?  Later on I learned right here how common this can be.
Oh, and PS Thanks for showing me how the photo thing works.  I didn't have a clue.  I just learned about the "Notes" thing the other day from Meki too. ; ]

Lonestar: thanks I didn't think it was a big deal,  but even though the eyebrows aren't bushy, I got the same look! lol

He told me today because I can not keep weight on, even though last week I ate a lot,  and my glucouse is way down, to eat tomatoes!   This week also.

He is a good GI though, on top of stuff and likes seeing me which is rare!

I remember on peg, my Hemo went down. Was on procrit then also, but couldn't remember alts.

Well I have mine set up that way the photos,  nice that way then you can share if you want or not if you don't!  lol the notes i was like huh at first?

Thanks also to you Sldb,  and of course my charm!

I think Infergen is really throwing me for a loop,  so much of it seems so different, yet the same.

Thanks again!
