I think I have a thyroid issue but I'm not sure

So, after my ex broke up with me last summer I became an alcoholic briefly (not anymore) cause I kinda went off the deep end and went a little crazy, but I'm mostly fine now but I've been dealing with random health issues ever since.  The problem is whenever I tell my doctors they just think I'm depressed.  Well I am because of all the **** I'm dealing with, but I'm not still dealing with last summer.  Number one concern is lack of libido.  I'm 23 and had an enormous sex drive since as far back as I can remember, but ever since like a year ago it has steadily declined and now I don't have hardly any drive.  I've been with a few girls since but I have like these mood swings when it comes to sex; one day I'll be fine and the next I don't even want to kiss them.  And I can't see a rhyme or reason to the change.  The other issue is an overall fogginess, like I'm always kind of out of it.  Also I do have hair loss that I noticed like 3 years ago which I hear is a symptom of thyroid issues.  Also I had a thyroid cyst removed about 6 years ago, though my doctor says that doesn't have anything to do with thyroid issues.  I also went to the doctor a few times about heart palpitations because my heart was racing for no reason and my pressure was really high, but it would fluctuate constantly so one minute I was fine, the next my heart was racing.  I've been having vision problems ever since junior high that have slowly gotten worse; I can still see pretty well and don't need glasses but my eyes tend to feel swollen a lot and its kind of uncomfortable to look for long periods of time; something that I read could be caused by a pituitary problem which could in turn affect thyroid function.  My TSH is .99 but because its within the range the Doc thinks I'm just crazy.  I also have like a general weakness, lack of energy, and lack emotion in general.  I'm sick and tired of being messed up.  Any ideas?

WELCOME to this Community .. you are in great hands here with so many people with so much knowledge.  I don't have that much exp. with what you describe but a TSH of .99 can cause anxiety in some I would think  .. the symptoms you describe could be caused by underlying depression, could be thyroid .. such a fine line to cross .... I would ask the Dr for full thyroid panel ... the works .... and complete blood counts, etc. to see what may be askew....others on this board will be able to jump in with more info... i just wanted to say hello and say WELCOME again!

Thx : )  I'm going to see the Doc on the 30th and demand as much blood work as possible.  Oh something else I forgot; when I had the test ordered I offhandedly asked for a lipid count for a reason I don't remember but my cholesterol ended up being below the range by a hair.  This might be because I have a crazy fast metabolism and I couldn't get fat if my life depended on it, but I eat a really fatty died because my 3 favorite foods are mexican food, milk, and chocolate.  Does really low cholesterol mean anything to any of you?
