Ongoing tiredness

by Kelmo, Apr 16, 2008 07:47PM
I recently went through what I thought was the 'Flu'.  I had severe body aches, slight headache with severe eye pressure and light sensitivity.  I thought this was Sinus, but did not experience being stopped up although I 'Sounded' stopped up.  I had severe shooting pains down the back of my skull into my neck.  I slept most of the time.  Experienced some nausea with just a slight turn of the head.  After a week and a half I still haven't fully recovered.  I am exhausted most of the time.  I still have a fullness to my head.  I went to my Primary Care Doctor and was seen by his PA.  She diagnosed me with Viral Meningitis.  I'm 46 years old and as a nurse I haven't seen this before within the Adult population.  Does this sound like it could be the case?
