Glall Bladder Disease and Lightheadedness

I was just told I have gall bladder disease. I have had a few attacks, but after this last one, I have been persistently lightheaded and sick to my stomach. Has anyone experienced this? I have an appt. to meet with a surgeon, but I'm just not sure if it should wait or if that is the sign of something more serious?
Thanks!

I have disease and gallstones and, yes, I get exactly what you describe and as a sidenote, same thing happens about 15mins before kidney stone activity.

What kinds of tests have been run to show that there's gallbladder disease? Did they find polyps, stones, dyskinesia?

The lightheadedness might be a sign of gallbladder disease (especially if it gets in the way if digestion), and the nausea definitely is (though it could be a myriad of other things). If you're really concerned, go to your doctor and ask "if not this, what else could it be/what else can you check me for?" The answer might be a straight forward "This is pretty conclusive" or a more roundabout "Well, if this keeps up after, then we'll check for..." whatever.

But yea, both of those are related to gallbladder disease. Do you also have pain associated? Bloating? Heartburn?
