Abnormal T3 & FTI but normal TSH and Total T4

I guess my Dr did order a TSH and it came back on a seperate report.
TSH 1.6
T3 Uptake (result 43.5%) ref range 25-35%
T4 Total (result 8.7 mcg) ref range 4.5-12.0
FTI (result 3.8) ref range 1.3-3.4.
She is telling me that the tests are inconclusive and referred me to an Endo. I've tried looking up all of this on the web but I can't really find anything on just those tests. Help!
