People say I talk crazy

by mycutepup2, Apr 18, 2008 02:03PM
Can anyone relate to my problem. People think and say I'm crazy because I tell them what I have in mind. I say things that are wierd to them. Yesterday, a guy brought in a water resistant laptop from Negro Ponte program, I told him I would like one so that I can take it in the hot tub when I take a bath. He says its not waterproof, I say I'll wrap it in a plastic bag and that would protect it from the water. A lady who sat next to me said I'm crazy to want to take a lap top in the hot tub. She says hot tubs are for relaxing but for me I love the internet and I feel browsing the internet while I relax in the tub would be a good idea. But everyone in the room thinks I'm crazy, they laugh and tease me. I worry a lot of what people think of me because it seems that I have all these crazy ideas that people would never think of.  As  a result I avoid going to gathering where there are many people, and even if I go I try to not say much fearing that I would say something wierd and people would not only think I'm crazy but say right on my face that I'm crazy. I have been called 'crazy' so many times and it really bothers me. Please help if you can relate to my story.

What did you do to fix that. Last night I was at a place where we had a chance to question this new president of the company. Several people asked question and I did too. My question was 'What is the most exciting thing in leading this company and do you have any fear. The moment I finished my sentence the whole room bursted with laughter and I felt ashame because I thought that I had asked some stupid question that didn't matter or make sense. After the meeting, about 5 people came up to me and told me that I asked a very good question. But still I could not convince myself that my question was not stupid especially the second part. Please help and enlighten me.

i think your question wasa really good question.... why not ask someone that? i think that who ever was with you was very inconsiderate of your INTELLIGENT question..... kind of makes me mad that stupid people like that would laugh at a question who's answer might have helped them in the future...

It may be that you say the unexpected and that's viewed as crazy. I see nothing wrong with thinking outside the box and you shouldn't either. It's our job as mentally ill citizens to remind people that there is an outside of the box, I think. It is quite a shame that we feel stifled by the judgmental society we lie in, but we have got to try to be ourselves anyway. We are precious, as are our silly, crazy, weird, stupid thoughts.

Love and light,
Diemyn
