Does having high thyroid antibodies effect the quality of the eggs retrieved during an IVF cycle?  Should medicine be taken before starting an IVF cycle in order to bring the thyroid antibodies down?

Hi I have thyroid antibodies and I started my first IVF. I am on imunoglobulin injections and cortizone and aspirin which apparently should prevent rejection of embrios.I have been on these medicine for two weeks and imunoglobuline injections since retrieval of eggs. I am not sure about quality of eggs. They retrieved four eggs two days back and two fertilised but only one has progressed to stage 2. My RE is planning day five transfer - if the one egg survives.
I was put on low dose of thyriod medication but I had bad reaction and my RE stopped it. I hope this helps you. Good luck. Zansi
