ACTH uptake test

Has anyone done this yet, I have been complaining about feeling tired after getting 8 soild hours of sleep,plus I wake feeling very nervous in the morning,,doc told me my cortasol level was fine for a year,I even did a saliva test and it showed good,,now my last test came back low am cortasol,he wants me to do this test,,whats involved and how does it make you feel, all thyroid labs are normal now,,I also had CT scan on Adrenal glands an they say the is a benine cyst on one,,

These are all adrenal issues you doctor is looking at - and I am now digging into all this myself. I do not have a whole lot of information yet - but here is a link that I liked

It is suspected that I now have adrenal exhaustion - and until I get that under control - my thyroid issues will never level off - until I get those adrenals healed.

The adnrenals is the base hormone site that controls almost all the hormone endocrine system. If they are off - most likely thyroid issues will also be effected. AND if they are the problem - people with thyroid disease will have a tougher time getting that in balance too.

I am so excited in finding out more on this and I am convinced finally that this is my root cause.
