Really very sorry to hear that. From your question it appears as though there is a pathology in brain--like aneurysm, hematoma etc due to injury. I am sure MRI must have been done after and before surgery. What do the reports say? Have you consulted a senior neurologist?
A more detailed information about medical reports and Neurologist's opinion will be very helpful.
But this last episode he had like a grand mal seizure, his arms and legs came up and was stiff, he was foaming at the mouth, and convulsing, when it was over, he didn't know me (his mother), he didn't know where he was, had slurred speech, & weakness. We have taken him to doctors and one kept guessing, one time the doctor would say it was complex partial seizure, then the next vist he was told it was migraines, then the next time didn't know. Took him to another doctor, he was told it was silent migraines. After this last seizure, now nobody has anything to say, but has him on dilantin, and prolanalol, I am sick and tired of getting the run around, and not knowing what is going on. PLEASE can someone help us?
a worried and concerned mother.
