It has been 27 days since my teeth were extracted. I am expereincing swelling in my jaw. At first it was slight, but then the swelling more than doubled in size at the end of the first day. It almost seems like it is stretching forward along my jaw. I have had trouble reducing the swelling with ice or IB Profen. I'm not sure what is happening or what to do (other than contacting mt surgen on Monday).

What you are describing sounds like a late post operative infection.  You should contact your doctor immediately and advise them of your condition.
