Chemotherapy drugs that causes hair loss usually acts on hairs that are continuously growing like the hair on your scalp. The fact that your eyelashes are growing can mean two things: it is still growing (though very slowly), or your hairs are inherently weak. Some causes of hair weakening include malnutrition, poor protein intake, too much sun exposure, and micronutrient deficiency. I suggest you have this formally evaluated by a dermatologist. He may take a sample of your hair and see on what level your hair breaks off (at the root or somewhere along the shaft) as this would have a bearing on the etiology or cause.
