recuring blood clot in legs and lung

Since out of hospital with 2nd bout of blood clots, have 2 in lung and 1 in leg. Was told do not have pulmonary hypertention after testing, however continue to have extreme swelling in right ankle/leg which appears to be getting worse. On 5mg of warafin daily and told must be on for rest of my life..am 58. I cannot tolerate water pill as my b/p without taking is an avg of 100/70, when tried water pill dropped to 70/40. What can I do? Was diagnosed with asthma at 40 and on Advair, which controls it good unless I get a cold.
