TOT Surgery

I have the TOT Surgery (sling) 12 days ago.  I am still unable to sit comfortably, I feel discomfort in my abdomen and vaginal area after sitting only a few minutes.  I can make myself comfortable if I am sitting in a reclining chair or if I am lying down.  It feels like the weight of my body is pressing on my abdominal and vaginal area.  Is this normal?

If the exit points from the TOT are tender to touch, or are red or are draining bloor or other liquid, you will need to go see your surgeon, who can evaluate you to make sure there is no infection or erosion of the area.
