Does facial tics happen if your child has Osteomyelitis?

by AshlynsMom, Apr 19, 2008 11:38PM
I have noticed the last couple of days that my 3 yr. old has been blinking her eyes a lot and her mouth is drawn over to the side. When I looked up tics it mentioned Streptococcal. When I researched that link it mentioned Osteomyelitis but didn't go into further detail. A red flag immediately went up for me b/c my 5 Yr. old daughter has Osteomyelitis and has had a Picc line for 7 weeks now. We don't know how she got it but the Dr.'s say it is common to never know why. I am worried b/c what if this is a symptom of Osteo. I will call the Dr. first thing Mon. morning. Does anyone know?
