Should I be worried

I am 23 years old.  I recently finished my period 7 days ago.  About 3-4 days ago I became very ill with what I thought was a bad stomach bug.  I vomited for a while, stayed nauseated, ran a high fever, and had extreme diarreah.  I am starting to feel better today but when I woke up this morning I was cramping again and thought it was from dehydration  from the past few days.  When I went into the bathroom I was bleeding again.  I am on the pill.  What could be wrong with me?

Hello,
Sounds like you might have a viral illness.  However, if you think you might be pregnant take a home pregnancy test.  If negative, repeat it in one week.  If you begin to feel worse over the next 24-36 hours, see a physician.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
