Could my 25 year old have asperger's syndrome

My son is now 25 years old and could never understand what was wrong with him.  Now after reading up on Asperger's  syndrome I think my son my be afflicted with this disease.  When he was very young he always hated loud noises, 4th of July fireworks, thunder, the balloon games at the board walks always covered his ears. To this day he still hates loud noises.  He was always bullied as a child, difficult making friends and keeping them, still to this day the same problem he has a younger brother and he considers his brothers friends as his.  He has trouble putting his thoughts together, because he was a kid I thought he would grow but of it, now as a man I see he still struggles especially in social situations.  Sometimes when he speaks he says the strangest things or finds humor in the odd things.  He spends hours I mean hours in his room alone making music beats at his computer, he has been doing this since teenage years.  He has seen  social workers, and psychologist and not a one thought this was strange.  He can't find a job or when he does can't hold it for long periods of time.  He has a nervous tic when he speaking with someone he tugs on his teeshirt like fixing it all the time.  He has compulsive tendencies you can't move anything in his room out of order.  He washes his hands when he leaves his room when he comes downstairs, when he goes back up to his room.  I worry for him don't know what to do. He has no idea that he may have Asperger's .  He is a young man already with self doubt and low self esteem telling him this would put a blow to his ego.  So I have to find out if there is a way to diagnose this and where I should go from here. I['m lost and so worried for my son!  HELP do you think he has aspergers and if you do what should I do?  Any help would be so greatly appreciated by me and my family
