Painful Lump on left thigh

by stace3730, Apr 20, 2008 11:21PM
I have a hard, large, painful lump on my left outer thigh. My doctor has set me up with a surgeon, but I can't even meet with the surgeon for another month, and the lump has been here for over 2 months. The pain is getting worse, there is no discoloration, but my veins are getting darker. I am getting VERY worried, is it ok to wait a month before even seeing the surgeon or should I call my doctor and ask that the appointment be made sooner? I have NO idea what this can be, I just know it's not getting any better. Please - Any insight, information or help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
