but seeing a doctor would help more
If its genital warts, yes it could have been passed to you.
It is treatable, but not curable. It will however, run its course and clear from your body. This can take up to a couple of years.
If you get warts, then they can be treated and removed, but not cured.
You do need to tell partners if this turns out to be genital warts.
I hope you aren't serious about taking your life over an std. If that's the case, and you are serious, I would urge you to seek help for depression or anxiety or whatever it is that is bothering you. That's a very extreme reaction to something so common. Most people will have an std in their lifetimes.
I think he just needs to go to the doctor soon, and you can talk to your doc about the hpv vaccine. I don't know offhand if you can get it with a recent exposure, but your doc should know.

the anxiety is killing me. i have been on anitdepressants. and have attempted suicide several times before. my best friend is coming with me and she is being so supportive. i love her to bits.
i never even get sick.. iv been so careful in the past and yet he didnt know about these lumps due to his large amount of pubic hair. since i last posted he found another lump. one on his penis. it had what appeared to be a pore and looked like a large spot. it had puss in it. and he popped it like a spot.
he is also going to the clinic tomorrow.
what is the difference between genital warts and herpes??? anyone.. please.?
Herpes produces sores, lesions, blisters, etc., that will heal within a week or two. Warts can linger, and are either bumps or raised and might look like little cauilfowers. HSV is a lifelong thing, and HPV will clear within a couple of years.
If you haven't already, you should talk to the doc about the HPV vaccine, and if you have a therapist, this would be a great time to call.
