what happen to my pregnancy at 8 weeks the gestational sac was seen without foetus?

I'm very sorry for your loss and this is so difficult to go through.  Honestly, the doctors will probably not know what happened.  Usually, when an early miscarriage occurs, it is due to a chromasonal  defect.  You can ask your OB to see is he/she has any answers but the percentage of early miscarriages is very high and is usually unknown as to what happened.  I wish you the best of luck.
