Hello,
I have had HPV for about 2.5 years (no more symptoms). I am interested in a new girl and was wondering about the vaccination. If I recommend she get vaccinated, how long after the first shot will some sort of immunal protection be developed. Do we have to wait the entire 6 months before its safe to begin sexual activity ?
Also, she is 1 year past the 14 - 26 age bracket, will doctors still vaccinate outside this bracet (she is 27). I don't know whats up with these magic numbers but if they wont vaccinate I will be very disappointed.
Please advise.

both of u should use condoms to be safe until she has the full series......as for the age range they should give it to her....my daughter is 37 lives in Florida and her doc gave it to her!
