I'm sorry to hear what happened. The impacted bowel can be due to post-operative adhesions. The lining of the abdominal cavity, called peritoneum, can adhere to one another after an operation that can cause some form of intestinal obstruction. Regarding the chronic tiredness, it is very hard to ascertain the cause as well as pinpointing the reason for her present pains. These may or may not be related to her previous surgery. I suggest you have her evaluated thoroughly by her physician and have all the necessary work ups done.
