iS COPD THE SAME AS RECOVERING PNEUMONIA?

My primary physician said that I had recovering pneumonia after I had been admitted to the hopital with an oxygen level of 81%. After being discharged and returning to him for a visit and he stated "yay the pnemonia is all gone." I wondered why he did not tell me about the COPD. Is recovering pnemonia the same diagnosis as COPD and treated the same?
