hoffmans and rombergs sign, imbalance, menieres

by trigear, Apr 23, 2008 10:06AM
I am 49 years old and have suffered with bilateral Menieres Disease for 15 years.  I am falling (without dizzyness).  It appears that my lower leg stops moving and the rest of my body just keeps going.  I have recently been to Mayo Clinic with no results other than menieres and sensory loss causing the falling and other problems.  They found brain atrophy of unkown clinical signicance (two MRI and MRA), positive Romberg sign, positive Hoffmans sign, slight cognitive inefficiences, ataxia/apraixa (two different doctors two different results) and peripheral neuropathy.

I guess I was wondering if there could be something else as I felt like cattle being hereded to slaughter at Mayo Clinic with what appeared to me to be little interest in my case.
